Music: Isn’t it gorgeous? (2025)

Here’s a song that came to me courtesy of a slow-bumping groove on a Wednesday afternoon, made possible by my wife’s generous permission to bring my loop station into our small house from the garage.

I had a heck of a time getting the simple chording on the basic track, but when I did, it inspired three verses vaguely concerned with an apprecitation of living. The lyrics:

Keep your stride, and keep plannning as best as ever you can, and then stop planning and let it go.

Just let it go.

Isn’t it gorgeous? Isn’t it?

Take it down. These data are going to be important somehow. And now, just read the word a letter at a time.

Yes read the word a letter at a time.

Isn’t it gorgeous? Isn’t it?

You can’t hide. You can always be found. And denying only makes things worse.

Denying only makes things worse.

Isn’t it gorgeous? Isn’t it?
